A CCTV image has been released of a missing Scots hillwalker who was last seen boarding a train six days ago

The 57-year-old has failed to make contact with loved ones since, and worries are now mounting for his wellbeing. Ross is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, slim build, bald head and is believed to have been wearing a blue beanie hat, blue waterproof jacket, green fleece, grey walking trousers and brown boots when he vanished.Anyone with any information on Ross' whereabouts are being urged to come forward, and locals are being asked to check their sheds and outbuildings, too, for anything that may suggest that Ross passed through.
“Today we have issued a second photograph of Ross which shows the clothing he was wearing when he was last seen. We hope it may help people recognise him.
