It follows an incident in Salford

Police have issued a CCTV image after a van was stolen from a Salford street. Officers have launched an investigation after a Vauxhall Combo van was taken from Carmel Avenue, in Ordsall .

Greater Manchester Police says two male suspects arrived at the scene on foot, before taking the vehicle. The force has issued an appeal on social media today , following the incident on Sunday, October 13. A CCTV image from the scene has also been shared by the force. Officers are keen to speak to the people in the image, who could hold key information about what happened.Any witnesses, or anyone else with information about the incident, are also being urged to come forward. A GMP Salford spokesperson said: "Salford NCT are appealing for information in relation to the theft of vehicles in Ordsall.

"On October 13, 2024 two males approach Carmel Avenue on foot and steal a Vauxhall Combo. Anyone with information is asked to call 0161 856 5251 quoting CRI/06FF/0027358/24."
