Police urge anyone who recognises people in the photos captured during Blackpool disorder to get in touch.
Police have released CCTV images of six men and one woman detectives want to speak to following violent disorder in Blackpool.Twenty people were arrested in Blackpool and four people have been charged, with three of those pleading guilty to offences.
Lancashire Police is appealing for help to identify the people in the images and anyone with information about them is asked to get in touch.The force is urging anyone who recognises people in the CCTV images to contact them Deputy Chief Constable Sam Mackenzie said he expected the force to make further arrests and charges over the violent disorder.Bottles and chairs were thrown and police are investigating reports of looting in Houndshill Shopping Centre as the unrest escalated on Saturday.Police have also released images of a woman and a sixth man they want to speak to
Crowds initially gathered near Blackpool cenotaph and proceeded through the town’s streets, forcing police to cordon off much of the town centre by early evening.A 50-year-old man sustained two fractures to the skull and a bleed on the brain.
