A RANGERS supporter repeatedly threw items at police during a fan title party.
Ewan McAlpine, 23, chucked the missiles at Glasgow city centre's George Square on May 15, 2021.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that McAlpine was snared following a police operation.
Prosecutor Jessica McGowan said:"Pictures of McAlpine were submitted to police and CCTV inquiries identified him.CCTV was shown to the court where McAlpine - in a blueHe was invited to attend a police station on July 12, 2021, which he did.Miss McGowan requested a football banning order be imposed upon McAlpine."Although not at a game, it is clearly related."
Sentence and consideration of a football ban was deferred until next month pending background reports.
