Horror CCTV images have revealed the moment a huge machete was aimed at two men in an 'altercation' in Wigan. The incident unfolded on Darlington Street in Wigan on January 10.
Captured at around 9.51pm last Friday, a man in a lighter coloured top can be seen running along the pavement, closely followed by the person holding the blade, before he falls down into the road while trying to get away and raises is arms in the air, in a bid to shield himself. The first victim appears to run away out of the shot, before the machete is once again held up towards the second man. Further details about the incident have not been confirmed, but police said they had been called to an 'altercation' shortly after 9.50pm and that enquiries are ongoing.
