The Colorado Department of Transportation said it will partially reopen U.S. Route 50 across the Blue Mesa Middle Bridge ahead of the Fourth of July weekend.
Emergency vehicles, pickup trucks, vans and motorcycles can start crossing over the bridge on Wednesday, July 3 at 6:30 a.m., CDOT said. RVs, campers and motor homes will have to use County Road 26. Trucks pulling trailers with boats or campers, semi-trucks and buses will also have to take the detour.
