Peter AtencioA member of the Cebu City Council is demanding an investigation into the track oval of the Cebu City Sports Complex, which was recently used during the 2024 Palarong Pambansa.
De los Santos called for the probe after learning that “one lane was found to be 1.5 meters short of the standard 400-meter distance and the other lanes had an average discrepancy of 0.88 meters.” “Who should bear responsibility? What is the responsibility of the Local Government and the contractor?” asked de los Santos, a former athlete and running enthusiast, during the session.
