CEBU CITY — Local government units from the Fifth District of Cebu showcased their respective tourist destinations, products and delicacies during the opening of the “R’ Cebu: Fiesta sa Kinto” on Friday, Feb. 17, at Robinsons Galleria-Cebu here.
“It’s actually ‘Our Cebu’ but since we are partnering with Robinsons, we call the expo ‘R Cebu,’ said Marti Ybañez, Cebu’s Tourism Officer. Cebu Province actually has seven districts but the expo will only have six legs after the Second and Sixth Districts were combined.“At the time, we were starting to recover from the pandemic. The malls were starting to open but the people were still afraid to go out,” noted Ybañez.
