After an ‘impatient’ offseason, the Cowboys’ star receiver said he never doubted a new deal would come to fruition.

I’d look at it, tempted to come in.’’He added 15 pounds to his frame since the end of last season. Taking part in that will be the next step in Lamb getting ready for the opener. The Cowboys’ head coach isn’t concerned.
“We’ve got to get back in running the routes, get back to 7-on-7 and team. He needs body-on-body, contested catches, have his contact balance tested.“I got to get bumped a little bit,’’ Lamb said. “Not so much hit, but as I’m running, a little nudge.Now, he can say it in person at The Star. He’s overjoyed and never doubted the extension would come.“But I will say I was getting impatient.’’
