She claims a 'culture of arrogance and inappropriateness' behind the scenes on hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing
Celebrity agent Melanie Blake has made a series of new claims about Strictly Come Dancing after what she says she experienced while representing famous clients on the crisis-hit BBC dance show.
She started by saying that while she had also had celebrity clients appearing in ITV's Dancing on Ice over the years, she was not aware of any "bad experience" on that show. But when it came to BBC Strictly, she said: "I was backstage and present for many incidents so I know what I am about to say is true".
She wrote on X: "The following is what I personally witnessed - pro dancers being introduced to their celeb partners being absolutely arrogant and saying they’d either never heard of them . Her claims continued saying: "One pro being so rough with our client that she was injured before they even began and thus couldn’t enjoy or do her best - same pro wanted to be out to focus on his career."
We asked the BBC for comment on the specific allegations that Ms Blake had made in her social media post.
