What happens when you put 12 celebrities in the Costa Rica n jungle with a set of challenges and one notable predator? Celebrity Bear Hunt plans to find out. The latest offering from adventurer and survival expert Bear Grylls sees a group of well-known figures competing in a challenging game of survival with an unexpected twist. No, the producers aren't going to set a grizzly on the unsuspecting celebs. Instead, Bear Grylls himself will be hunting them down and trying to catch them.
If he succeeds, they'll be eliminated, with the last one standing crowned the winner. Yes, it sounds absolutely bonkers and yes, we are definitely tuning in. Here are all of the Celebrity Bear Hunt contestants. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen Age: 59 Job: Interior designer Instagram: @llewelynbowen Interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is perhaps best known for making interesting style choices on the BBC and Channel 4 show Changing Rooms. Known for his outrageous and flamboyant personality, it should be great fun to see how he gets on in the jungle. Shirley Ballas Age: 64 Job: Professional dancer Instagram: @shirleyballas Queen of the ballroom Shirley Ballas is probably best known as being the head judge on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, where she's been since 2017. Will her dancing background and competitive nature give her an edge over her fellow competitors? Boris Becker Age: 57 Job: Former tennis player Instagram: @borisbeckerofficial Boris Becker is a former tennis player from Germany who notably won Wimbledon at 17-years-old as a qualifier — an achievement that has never since been repeated. In 2002, Becker moved to London and became a commentator for the BBC's Wimbledon coverage. Then in 2022, the former tennis star was sent to prison on insolvency charges, and spent eight months behind bars. Lottie Moss Age: 27 Job: Model Instagram: @lottiemossxo Lottie Moss is a fashion model and younger half-sister of icon Kate Moss. She credits herself as a YouTube creator, documenting her life through beauty, fashion, and candid lifestyle vlogs. She has dealt with substance abuse and depression throughout her life, which she opens up about during her time on Celebrity Bear Hunt. Joe Thomas Age: 41 Job: Actor Instagram: @itsjoethomas Millennials will instantly recognise actor Joe Thomas for his role as Simon Cooper in noughties comedy series The Inbetweeners. He is now married to co-star Hannah Tointon (who played his on-screen girlfriend Tara) and the couple have a daughter together. Viewers of Celebrity Bear Hunt are expecting some extra drama, as Cipriani's former teammate Ben Foden happens to be co-star Una Healy's ex-husband. Big Zuu Age: 29 Job: Rapper and TV personality Instagram: @itsbigzuu Zuhair Hassan, known professionally as Big Zuu, is a rapper, DJ and TV personality perhaps best known for his show Big Zuu's Big Eats, for which he won two BAFTA awards.
