Celebrity Big Brother's Louis Walsh was granted immunity from the next eviction in a twist delivered by Monday night's programme. As the housemates danced around in an eruption of emerald for St. Patrick's Day, Fern Britton visited the Diary Room where she was handed the unenviable task of choosing someone to leave the house - placing a plastic red snake on their bed as a mythic symbol.
Another wrote: "My heart dropped when Fern said Louis but then I realised that Big Brother has likely rigged it so Louis will get sent to the final as pretty much everyone in there would have sent him home and they want their moneys worth." Speaking to Big Brother in the aftermath, Louis proudly reflected in the Diary Room: "I'm in the final! Who knew after all the nominations I got... and all the anti-Louis people out there. I'm through!
