The 75-year-old, who founded charity My Own Hair to help other cancer patients, was diagnosed with bowel cancer after he lost a worrying amount of blood.
‘I had a little panic attack in the office, and came out of there, and look at Carole and she looked at me, and we were both speechless.’ ‘We were walking down the road, and I just didn’t know what to say, so I had a big din and tonic, and that helped!’ he laughed. The cancer then spread to Trevor’s liver, and he had to have two six hour operations but a tumour is still there now because it’s too close to a major blood vessel.
