Television personality and former racing driver Billy Monger has been slapped with a driving ban after causing a significant accident. The star, known for his appearance on Celebrity Race Across The World , crashed into three parked vehicles in Surrey. According to authorities, he failed to maintain control of his black Toyota Supra on a 30mph road in Limpsfield, resulting in damage to a Volkswagen Lupo, Volkswagen Golf, and Citroen C3 before the car halted in someone’s garden.
He has been handed a 49-day driving disqualification and hefty fines adding up to a total of £2,694. The crash occurred near midnight on 19 January, and also involved a streetlight and a wall.
Billy was also part of the 2024 Summer Paralympics commentating team, and he appeared in the 2023 series of Celebrity Race Across the World with his sister Bonny, alongside celebrities including Harry Judd and his mum and All Saints star Melanie Blatt and her mother. In an interview when he signed up for the show, Billy revealed there were some challenges to racing across the world as an amputee. "You have to know your body.
