Celtic progressed into the Scottish Cup semi-finals at the Lions' expense
Celtic marched on into the Scottish Cup semi-finals, but were pushed all the way by Premiership basement side Livingston at Celtic Park.
It looked like Celtic would add to their lead, but instead Tete Yengi levelled again for Livi with some terrific finishing early in the second half.Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers made two changes from the side that lost 2-0 to Hearts last weekend. Stephen Welsh and Nicolas Kuhn came in for Cameron Carter-Vickers and Yang.
Celtic regained their lead in 22 minutes when Livingston's defence failed to deal with a Celtic attack, and Maeda's header was allowed to squirm past McGovern and spin over the line. The hosts were given another chance in 42 minutes when McGovern lost out on a race to the ball with Kuhn, and his cross was headed by Maeda at the left post, but the keeper recovered brilliantly to save.
