A lucky Celtic fan, Davey, turned a £5 bet into over £1,000 after correctly predicting both Plymouth's victory over Liverpool and Queen's Park's shock win against Rangers in FA Cup and Scottish Cup upsets respectively.
A huge weekend of cup upsets across England and Scotland proved to be a very profitable one for one lucky punter, who turned £5 into more than £1,000 on a lucky double on Sunday afternoon.
Premier League leaders Liverpool were overwhelming favourites for their FA Cup fourth round match in Devon against a Plymouth side rock bottom of the Championship. The Reds had what was thought to be a kind draw at the home of the Championship's bottom club, 43 places below their opponents in the footballing pyramid and looking likely to be playing League One football next sesaon.
Aaron Hardie's penalty early in the second half, combined with standout performances from centre back Nikola Katic and goalkeeper Conor Hazard sent Plymouth into the fifth round draw, where they now face the small matter of an away trip to take on Manchester City.
