Celtic fans are wishing Mikey Johnston well after the winger sent an emotional farewell message to the club and supporters via social media.
Having spent the latter half of last season on loan in England, the Baggies pushed to make his move permanent, spelling an end to his career in Glasgow. As a lifelong Celtic fan, Johnston has lived the dreams of every person who goes to Parkhead each week, and his emotional message served as a reminder of that.
Johnston made 93 senior appearances for Celtic since his professional debut in 2017, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists.
