Dundee could be forced to switch their Scottish Premiership clashes if their own ground isn't playable.
Celtic have reportedly come to Dundee's aid in order to try and ensure that Saturday's match against Motherwell at Dens Park goes ahead followed by next week's visit of Rangers.
But now according to the Scotsman, Premiership champions Celtic have stepped in to help alleviate those fears by providing Dundee with pitch covers in an effort to protect the pitch from the heavy rainfall. The report says that the covers will be laid on the Dens Park turf today and that Dundee bosses are doing everything they can to ensure the pitch is playable for the visit of the Saints in two days time.
The clash between Dundee and Rangers was initially due to take place on Sunday, March 17 but had to be postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
