Celtic captain Callum McGregor has announced his retirement from international football with Scotland.
He revealed he has spoken to national head coach Clarke this week to make him aware of his intentions. McGregor said that "reaching two major tournaments will always be a source of real pride" but had hinted during this summer Euro finals that he had been hindered by fitness issues.
