The Celtic legend married his partner Lisa Hague in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, after a 22-year engagement period. Their nuptials were attended by their nearest and dearest.
Former Celtic midfielder Kris Commons married his childhood sweetheart Lisa Hague in an intimate ceremony on Saturday which saw Hoops legend Neil Lennon acting as a witness.
The 38-year-old kept her hair down with a sleek blow dry and bronzed skin. Meanwhile dapper Kris sported a dark grey, three-piece suit and a dark tie.Their beautiful daughter, April, sported a lovely, floor-length, dark green, embellished dress with a soft updo. April's dress, alongside brothers, William and Jax's smart kilts was a nod to their Scottish roots thanks to Kris' Celtic career spanning around six years and the families subsequent strong ties to Scotland.
The lovebirds hail from Nottinghamshire but often hail their years in Glasgow as 'the best of their life'. Lisa previously teased a 'Celtic theme' when she chatted to the Record all things wedding planning, with a green colour scheme. Last year, Lisa trained to become a grief coach and now organises counselling retreats to help those who are going through the trauma of losing a baby, after losing first daughter Lola to stillbirth 15 years ago. The generous mum shared their decision earlier this week on Instagram. She wrote: "Kris and I decided that we are going to have a super small wedding.
