Brendan Rodgers and the recruitment team at Celtic Park are ramping up their business with the new Scottish Premiership season edging closer.
Royal Antwerp CEO Sven Jaecques has warned suitors of Michel-Ange Balikwisha they will have to pay a "large" transfer fee amid links with a move to Celtic.
The Scottish Premiership champions are said to be in contact with the player's agent - with reports in Belgium suggesting that the Hoops and Antwerp will hold talks over the prospect of a deal for the 23-year-old in the coming days. However, they appear in no rush to sell their key man. "A number of players think they can make a transfer. But that will not be possible for everyone. There will certainly be one or two large outgoing transfers. If certain amounts are put on the table, you cannot refuse. Those amounts can give the organisation more oxygen."
