The Swede failed to make an impact during his first year at Parkhead
Brendan Rodgers admits Gustaf Lagerbielke is set for a Celtic exit in the summer window, writes Michael Gannon from the USA.
“He had the chance to go on loan in January but we needed to keep him due to the injuries we had in that position. But he’s worked very hard over pre-season and we’ll see what happens. You see the players are happy and working well, but all players want to play. If they can’t get the game time with us, they may look elsewhere. In this moment he’s working very hard and when is asked, he comes in and does well.
Rodgers said: “The senior guys have done so well. We’ve seen some of the younger guys, players like Francis Turley, who has come into games and really come to note over the course of the pre-season period. “It’s always important for talents to be encouraged, and that was the whole idea behind taking them to America.
