Ex Scotland stopper Russell Martin responded to Hoops interest in the midfielder while the prospect of teaming up Idah and Miovski was floated.
Russell Martin insists there is "not a chance" Celtic target Shea Charles will be allowed to leave Southampton unless they can bring in reinforcements first.
But that doesn't necessarily mean he's willing to part with Charles. The former Man City starlet only joined Saints a year ago in a big money move from Manchester City, but has found himself in and out of the side under Martin, mainly thanks to the form of Flynn Downes. However, the former Rangers and Scotland defender insists he doesn't have the numbers in his squad that would allow him to let Charles leave just yet.
"It is what it is. So, yeah, we will bring some people in and assess the situation - but Shea was good tonight ." However, he's been urged not to ignore striking options closer to home. Jim Duffy reckons Bojan Miovski would be a great fit at Parkhead and doesn't see why Celtic should necessarily rule out a move for the Aberdeen hitman even if they sign Idah.
