The champions will unfurl the league flag before kick off and then it's down to business in their quest for four-in-a-row
Stuart Findlay reckons Killie can spoil Celtic's flag day celebrations this afternoon despite facing a defensive crisis. With Robbie Deas suspended and Joe Wright questionable after he was taken off injured at half-time in Thursday's Europa League defeat in Bruges, the visitors will be up against it as they kick-off their Premiership campaign. Add in the fact that newly signed Corrie Ndaba isn't up to speed yet, it could be a makeshift backline for Derek McInnes.
Our job is to go out there and try to spoil their flag unfurling. We didn’t do ourselves justice at the back end of last season when they won the league at Rugby Park. We probably just ran out of steam a wee bit after the season we’d had. But we can take a lot from the two games that we’ve had in Europe and want to put on a performance that will make our fans pleased.
