A mother who booked a New Year's stay at Center Parcs was horrified to discover her lodge was infested with moths, covered in grease, and had hair throughout. Despite being promised a 'deep clean' prior to her arrival, she found the lodge in the worst condition she had ever seen, filled with dust, grime, and uncleaned appliances. The mother expressed her frustration and disbelief, highlighting the inconsistencies with Center Parcs' advertised cleaning standards.
A MUM who forked out a whopping £1.7k for a New Year's stay at Center Parcs has shared her horror after finding the lodge infested with moths, gross grease and hair.
The park website states: "On your day of arrival, you can start your adventure in the forest from 10am and have access to your accommodation at 4pm."This gives another 14 free hours to explore the activities. ''It did make my skin crawl a little bit but I thought 'You know what, I'm just going to give it a quickAs a cleaner with seven years of experience, Kelly very soon realised what this meant - the lodge was infested with moths and ''this would have never happened'' if the holiday property had been cleaned properly as promised, she explained.
Sharing the story on social media, Kelly said the family were offered a different lodge, as well as a £450 refund for the four-night stay.
