The Rams' legend Thomas is off to an outstanding start to her age-32 season, and now earns her first chance at representing the United States.

Besides Thomas, the roster consists of A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Napheesa Collier, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Sabrina Ionescu, Chelsea Gray and Kahleah Copper. Thomas is a Central Dauphin grad, helping the Rams to a state title in 2008 and earning All-American status in 2010. She went on to have a stellar four-year career at the University of Maryland, before being selected No. 4 in the 2014 WNBA Draft, playing all 11 of her seasons with Connecticut.
This season for the 9-0 Connecticut Sun, Thomas is nearly averaging a triple-double, sitting at 13.0 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game and 8.8 assists per game, while remaining one of the best defenders in the sport as a versatile 6-foot-2 power forward.
