The 20-year-old winery will remain open this weekend and close temporarily beginning on Monday.
The 20-year-old winery at 1330 Klines Run Road in Lower Windsor Township near Wrightsville, will close temporarily beginning Monday.
The winery has been forced to close temporarily as a result of a court order stemming from a legal dispute regarding the use of the winery’s farm property on Klines Run Road, the business said in a news release. The court order requires Moon Dancer to suspend operations on its agriculturally zoned property following the close of business on June 9, the business announced. Moon Dancer said it is seeking permission from the court to reopen as soon as possible, with a goal of remaining in operation while litigation continues.
“While we are heartbroken to have to close our doors for any period of time, we simply don’t have a choice,” Jim Miller, owner of Moon Dancer Winery, said in a news release. “We are very grateful for the support of everyone who has been able to share our beautiful dream on the Susquehanna River hills over the past 20 years and encourage everyone to come out to Moon Dancer this weekend before our temporary closure.
