A 72-year-old woman who was hit head-on in a car crash last month died of her injuries 29 days after the collision, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Nancy Hoover, 72, of York City, was pronounced dead on April 25 at Wellspan York Hospital, according to a report from the coroner’s office. Her cause of death, the report stated, was multiple blunt-force trauma sustained in a car crash on March 27, when the vehicle Hoover was driving was hit head-on by another driver who crossed the double-yellow line on the 1900 block of Carlisle Road in West Manchester Township.
Hoover was taken from the scene to Wellspan York Hospital, according to the coroner’s report.
