Centro Escolar University Makati Nursing students claimed the championship title in the 1st Makati Medical Center (MMC) Battle of the Nightingales 2023 after prevailing over eight rival Universities across Metro Manila.
The three student representatives, Anna Sophia G. Redillas, Christine Grace C. Tenio, Rannie Kenneth V. Rebenito from CEU demonstrated their knowledge in a two-round challenging quiz prepared by the Board of Nurses. Each round is divided into three sections—easy, moderate and difficult. Together with other four universities, CEU advanced in the final round. The competition gets tougher as they initially tied with San Beda College, but ultimately emerged as 1st Place.
The CEU Nursing Team with Rommel Rufuz A. Lopez as coach, took home a trophy, cash prize, and a scholarship worth P100,000 for each of the contestants given by the MVP Foundation. They will represent their cluster in the National Level of the Battle of the Nightingales on Oct. 20, 2023 at SM Mega Trade Hall, Mandaluyong City.related stories
