But the union’s national secretary, in an email to members of the construction division, forecast the Fair Work Commission would seek to put some branches into administration.
The CFMEU construction division is rolling out a new national code of conduct for its delegates and workplace representations to stamp out “deeply worrying” misconduct revealed in a months-long media investigation.
“These are very reasonable but necessary steps that the premier can take,” Pesutto said on Wednesday.
