People in Yorkshire were dazzled by the Northern Lights, with the phenomena witnessed across the county.
If you missed the colourful geomagnetic storm, otherwise known as the Aurora Borealis, there is a chance you could view it again tonight . Met Office spokesman Stephen Dixon said: "We still have to work out some details on where exactly that will be,” however. Finding a location to view the Northern Lights in Yorkshire tonight may prove more difficult, as the Met Office has predicted fog, mist and low cloud spreading across the county.The weather forecast department has said: "Patchy low cloud, mist and fog overnight, spreading inland from the coast, but some clear spells for many and conditions staying dry. Minimum temperature 8C."
Seeing the lights may prove easier on Sunday night, as the fog and cloud is due to lift and return towards the coast. The advice on where to best view the lights is to look towards the northern horizon and to go to dark, more open spaces without light pollution.
