Whilst reminiscing about being given her engagement ring from fiancé Dan Bingham, former Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes could barely catch her breath from laughing.
I had plans to take her away, doing something really nice, but we just couldn’t get the timing right with studies, work and the kids," Dan tells us. "It was the day after my 40th birthday and I came downstairs to 40 different presents all lined up. Then I grabbed the ring so there was one extra surprise – just for her.
According to their recollection, it was then that businessman and father-of-one Dan, who shares 14-year-old daughter Amelia with his ex-partner, handed Chanelle - his first attempt - at an engagement ring. Reality star Chanelle - who appeared on the eighth series of Big Brother back in 2007 when she was just 19-years-old - received gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020, just months before being introduced to fiancé Dan.
