Commuters could soon notice a change at Nottingham Railway Station after a decision was made on a new eatery that is aiming to cater for diverse tastes. Indian street food vendor Tim Tim will set up a new stall in Nottingham train station after Nottingham City Council granted permission for renovation works to take place inside the heritage-listed station.
The restaurant's set up will not require structural modifications, he explained, with only menu boards and other necessary equipment being installed inside the protected building. The new eatery will create a number of job opportunities and support local suppliers "wherever possible", according to Mr Khan.He added: "Our commitment to preserving the historical and traditional look of the station is paramount.
