'Yesterday afternoon, three little f***ing scroats in balaclavas mugged my 13-year-old at knifepoint'
Channel 4's Matty White has said his teenage son was 'mugged at knifepoint in Chorlton' and had his phone stolen in a social media post.
He said they 'demanded he give them his phone' before one of the group revealed a 'knife sticking out of his jacket pocket'. He was told to then tell them his phone password before they fled the scene with his phone. On his public Instagram story, he wrote: "Yesterday afternoon, three little f***ing scroats in balaclavas mugged my 13-year-old at knifepoint. Thankfully he wasn't physically hurt.
Matty, who is also a food writer and hosts a podcast about Manchester's food and drink spots, said the incident had been reported to Greater Manchester Police.
