Amazon MGM Studios dropped the trailer for 'Blink Twice,' the Zoe Kravitz-directed film starring Channing Tatum, Alia Shwkat, and Naomi Ackie.
The trailer shows Naomi Ackie, a cocktail waitress named Friday, and Alia Shawkat being brought to the luxurious island where “things begin to go wrong,” according to a synopsis. The trailer starts with Tatum stating, “So… everybody is dead. Let’s start at the beginning.”
The film’s teaser introduces all of the film’s characters who are on the island, before things take weird twists: Phones get taken away, people start to disappear, and visitors start strangely showing off fake and creepy happy smiles. “I feel like I’m forgetting a lot of stuff,” says Ackie’s character, before another one wonders, “What’s making us forget?”
Kravitz serves as one of the film’s producers, alongside Bruce Cohen, Garret Levitz, and Tiffany Persons. “Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever — he really was my protector,” Kravitz told“That’s exciting to watch someone who’s mostly played boy next door, good guy, love interest, all of that,” she added.
