Popstar Chappell Roan stopped her Governor's Ball set to address the White House directly, stating she wouldn't perform at the White House's Pride celebration. The 'Casual' singer said when there's 'liberty and justice for all,' then she'll go.

'And we're there, we're there,' Chappell stated. 'So, I'm just kind of in this battle, I've like pumped the brakes on honestly anything to make me more known.' However, she also opened up about the positive side of fame, such as being recognized by stars who she has looked up to for years. 'People who I've looked up to my entire life are like peers, which is sick.'
'I just feel a little off today cause I think that my career is going really fast and it's really hard to keep up,' she revealed to the live audience. 'So I'm just being honest that I'm just having a hard time today.' 'I miss frolicking, obviously, because now I'm self-conscious to frolic,' Chappell added, and 'being in a Forever 21 and not being judged.'
'Or have been f***ing stans the past two or three years - a lot of them have reached out and are so supportive and girl's girl.' The songwriter released her EP, School Nights, in 2017 under Atlanta Records. Three years later, she released the track titled, Pink Pony Club, in 2020.
