The alleged incident took place around 11am on Wednesday (June 12) while schoolkids from the Govan area were visiting Launch Coffee shop on Bothwell Street.
A children's charity is devastated after an opportunistic thief 'stole' a money jar worth hundreds of pounds from a coffee shop in the city centre.
While staff were entertaining their little visitors, a money jar with an estimated £700 inside was allegedly stolen from the premises, leaving them gobsmacked. The donations would have been used to buy Christmas gifts for children whose families may not be able to afford a toy for their little ones.Gillian added: "It’s so disappointing and we are really annoyed.
