Dunne has been without a club since he left St Mirren but is now being targeted for a move to Perth
The free agent left-back is being targeted for a post-window move to McDiarmid Park, having been without a club since he left St Mirren in the summer. The 31-year-old has interest from India and Tranmere Rovers but Levein hopes to bring him to Perth. Dunne has plenty of Premiership experience having been at Motherwell for four years before he moved to Paisley in 2021.
Levein signed Jason Holt on transfer deadline night and made it clear that he was looking at potential free agents to bolster his squad. Holt, who has signed a two year contract, was in a similar position after leaving Livingston in the summer. Levein still feels he needs to strengthen his squad and is looking to give them a lift after they lost a stoppage time winner to Motherwell at the weekend. The Perth side sit eighth with just one win so far.
