'Camilla is pure gold to Prince Charles - they're soulmates'
Camilla has an important role ahead of her as Queen Consort alongside Prince Charles, the future King of England.
He adds: “They balance their work and relationship perfectly. If Charles wants to work, she’ll let him. And if Camilla wants some alone time, she’ll have it.” In their youth, the pair exchanged notes, secret nicknames and late-night phone calls to profess their love for each other, but back then their fledgling romance wasn’t to be. Today, they share sweet kisses in public and Camilla has been heard fondly calling her husband "darling".
But Charles isn’t the only love in Camilla’s life. Besides painting and her beloved rescue terriers Beth and Bluebell, she has a passion for gardening, telling BBC Two’s Gardeners’ World “you can go into a garden and completely lose yourself… there’s something very healing about gardens.”
