BBC Breakfast's Charlie Stayt had to apologise on air after unintentionally talking over his colleague.
Naga Munchetty expressed her good wishes, commenting: "Carol have a good rest of your Thursday and see you soon," to which Carol warmly responded: "Thank you, you too. Happy Christmas!" Carol graciously repeated her festive message: "No I was just saying Happy Christmas because I don't think I'll see any of you before Christmas, either of you. So Happy Christmas!" Charlie remarked: "Oh isn't that nice," reports the Express.
Earlier in the year, Carol celebrated her marriage to Steve, adding a personal highlight to an already successful year. Announcing the joyous occasion on the BBC morning show, she recounted: "It was the most perfect and romantic and intimate wedding. We are both so incredibly happy."
