Charlotte Dawson shares her heartwarming tradition of including her late father, comedy legend Les Dawson, in their Christmas celebrations. She reveals they visit his statue, dress it up, and even have a cardboard cutout of him at home.
Comedy legend Les Dawson died in 1993 when Charlotte was a baby. It prompted Charlotte's mum Tracey to put up a cardboard cutout of the comic at Christmas , so the family could feel as though he was included.
"We always go to the statue and dress him up and the boys come as well. They go and wish him merry Christmas, dress him up, and give him a cuddle. "I do turn it around sometimes to keep the burglars away. They'll go 's***, Les Dawson's come back to life'.
