The award-winning artist, whose real name is Karar Ramadan, was parked in Gothenburg last night when he was shot twice. C.Gambino – not to be confused with US rapper Childish Gambino – had almost one million monthly listeners on Spotify, with hits including Automatic and Svar. He was awarded a Grammi, the Swedish equivalent of a Grammy, for his work just last month.
