Cheap flights are available
People from the UK have been flocking to Bulgaria's Black Sea Resort Sunny Beach for a cheap party holiday overseas - with some comparing it to 'Blackpool abroad'.
Lured by its cheap £9 hotel rooms and 80p drinks, Sunny Beach is becoming an increasingly attractive spot for partying overseas. There's even a new E4 TV show planned, 'Emergency On Sunny Beach', which will focus on the behaviour of British tourists. The resort is located near to the city of Burgas, or Bourgas, on the coast, which makes this the best destination to get to Sunny Beach. In fact, you can get flights directly from Leeds Bradford Airport to Burgas Airport.For the cheapest flights from Leeds, you will be spending about £99 per person one way, with return flights generally more expensive, at over £100 - although some are even cheaper at just £86.
From the airport, it is about 15 miles to Sunny Beach and you can get a shuttle, taxi or bus to get there. Once there, you'll be able to enjoy everything the resort has to offer. There is everything from the area's namesake, the sunny beach, to nightclubs and bars. Flights are also available from Manchester Airport for a little bit less money. These come to £96 one way per person.
