6-part series debuts Sept. 25 on Netflix

From executive producers Chris Smith and Bill Simmons , “Mr. McMahon” debuts on Netflix Sept. 25. It includes interviews with wrestling superstars The Rock, Triple-H, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, as well as McMahon himself before he was removed as WWE chairman in 2022 following the revelation he had paid several women in connection with sexual assault allegations.
With it being six parts, “Mr. McMahon” promises to tell the whole story of McMahon’s rise and fall. And given Simmons’ involvement, it seems unlikely to be a hagiography like some more recent sports and sports-adjacent documentaries.
