Cheltenham Borough Council is going to look at all options for the site's future during the review.
The review was prompted by changing legislation and enhanced kerbside collection servicesCheltenham Borough Council's cabinet will meet on 26 November to discuss the future of the Household Recycling Centre on Swindon Road.
Izaac Tailford, from the council, said: "We understand that the household recycling centre has been much loved by residents in the past and we know that locally, people want to recycle even more and are very environmentally aware."
