Cheryl is heard talking about son Bear in a chat with Girls Aloud
Cheryl Tweedy will be seen discussing her son Bear Payne in a new TV interview, which was recorded prior to the tragic death of Liam Payne . This marks the first time Cheryl, 41, has appeared on television since the passing of Liam, with whom she welcomed their son in 2017.
It remains uncertain whether Cheryl, who separated from Liam in 2018, will attend her former partner's funeral this week, or if she will bring young Bear to his father's farewell in Wolverhampton. Liam died in Argentina on October 16 after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, resulting in three individuals being charged in connection with his death.
"The music industry is such a young place, that when you're that young and you're shrouded in that ageism you just think we could never possibly do that at that age," Nicola reflected during the chat. Cheryl then highlighted "how fortunate" she and her three remaining bandmates are to reunite 22 years after first being formed on Popstars: The Rivals.
On RuPaul's What's The Tee podcast in 2019, Cheryl revealed that she didn't have a name in mind immediately after his birth. She shared that a midwife began using the nickname in the hospital.
