Surveillance footage shows Belfon, 22, of Chickasaw, firing on an exit ramp as a large group of people pursued the trio. “He turned around and he defended himself, and he shot them,” he said. “But the reality is that you don’t know how a jury is going to handle that. And so, it’s a risk – it’s a heck of a risk. And so, he made a calculated and considered, you know, decision.”
