Three toucan chicks born at Newquay Zoo for the first time in its 55-year history have been likened to 'dinosaurs'.
Three toucan chicks have hatched at Newquay Zoo in Cornwall for the first time in 55 years. The green aracari birds originally come from the forests of South America, including Brazil and Venezuela.
However, when they were first born, one zoo keeper thought they looked like something very different. 'We have three young araçari toucans - two males and one female - who have just fledged! Look at the difference a few months can make!'
