The Chiefs are promoting Matt Nagy to be the team's new offensive coordinator with the departure of Eric Bieniemy. The former Bears head coach was Kansas City's quarterbacks coach and senior offensive assistant last season.
Nagy spent five seasons with Kansas City before accepting the head coaching job with Chicago. He returned to the Chiefs last season and helped the franchise win its third Super Bowl as Kansas City defeated theHe takes over for Bieniemy who guided the offense to 406.2 yards and 30.1 points per game over the last five seasons.
Coach Andy Reid loves having continuity when it comes to his coaching staff and this promotion for Nagy gives the Chiefs’ offense what should be a smooth transition.
