Police were called to TK Maxx on Bromley High Street yesterday A man has been arrested after a child was allegedly picked up from a pram in an attempted kidnapping at a busy east London store. Police were called to TK Maxx on Bromley High Street yesterday to reports a man had picked up a two-year-old child of a pram. He then turned to the child’s mother saying he will ‘take the child’. The child was recovered and the suspect was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping.
Bromley MPS said: ‘On August 28, 2024, police were called to TK Maxx, Bromley where a suspect had picked up a 2 year old child out of a pram stating to the child’s mother that he will take the child. ‘The child was recovered.
